About Accel Property Management

Ann Anderson, CEO
Accel Property Management and Investments

Ann Anderson, CEOAnn's professional real estate career began in 1986 in San Jose, CA. Having graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, she decided to quit living on a small salary and turned to a career in real estate.

Ann started as a Sales Agent, then was promoted to Sales Manager. In 1995, she received the "Manager of the Year" for Re/Max for Northern California.

In 1996, she decided to launch her own company and became the Broker and co-owner of Realty World Team Advantage. Their company grew quickly, selling over 150 homes per year in the fast-paced and competitive Silicon Valley market.

At the same time as she was building her career as an agent, Ann was growing as a real estate investor. She bought her first rental property in San Jose in 1987 and succeeded in making a profit on the transaction. Over the years, Ann has owned, managed, sold, and exchanged dozens of investment properties.

In 2000, Ann left San Jose and moved to McAllen to be near family and raise her daughter, Kersten. After a series of career and volunteer experiences, she decided to turn once again to real estate, starting as Association Executive with the Greater McAllen Association of Realtors. While there, she learned about the national and state organizations, and managed the McAllen association. However, Ann missed owning her own company and earned her Texas broker's license as the first step to re-entering the industry.

Accel Property Management and Investments allows Ann to focus on her personal investments while, at the same time, sharing her passion for investing with others to help them achieve their financial dreams.

Ann is excited about the McAllen real estate market because it is an affordable place for people to invest, not having succumbed to the pricing madness of the last few years; as a result, it also is not feeling the pain of the current market crisis because prices were not forced unrealistically high.

Texas is one of the few states projected to have large population growth in the next 10 years. This projection positions McAllen for attractive appreciation in real estate values.

Using the successful business systems she learned in California, and focusing on unparalleled customer service with integrity, Ann looks forward to helping many, many people grown their personal wealth through real estate investment.
